Select grains up on stockists buying

The wholesale grains market displayed a better trend today with prices of select grains rising by Rs 30 per quintal on increased buying by stockists, against restricted arrivals from producing belts.
However, after moving in a tight range in limited deals, wheat, rice basmati and other grains, settled around previous level.
Traders said increased buying by stockists against restricted arrivals from producing regions mainly pushed up select grain prices.
In the national capital, bajra and maize prices rose by Rs 30 each to Rs 1,325-1,330 and Rs 1,345-1,355 per quintal respectively.

Wheat, MP (deshi) 2,160-2,360, Wheat dara (for mills) 1,530-1,535, Chakki atta (delivery) 1,535-1,540 Atta Rajdhani (10 kg) 220, Shakti bhog (10 kg) 220, Roller flour mill 830-840 (50 kg), Maida 830-850 (50 kg) and Sooji 920-940 (50kg).
