The 23-year-old "Good For You" hitmaker will act as an adviser for Gwen Stefani's team for the upcoming season on the show, reported Entertainment Weekly.
This will be the first appearance on the reality competition show for Gomez, whose upcoming album "Revival", a follow-up to 2013's "Stars Dance", will be released on October 9.
"The Voice" season nine adviser roster would also include Brad Paisley, who will serve as adviser for Blake Shelton, and Creedence Clearwater Revival's John Fogerty, who is set to be an adviser for Adam Levine's team.
