According to PSI SJ Chavan of Vartak Nagar police station, offence was registered against Sarnaik last night under sections 447, 448,383, 387 r/w 34 of the IPC on the basis of a complaint lodged against him by Pandey's manager Om Prakash Mishra.
The complaint said Sarnaik, alongwith 10-12 men reached Pandey's office on October 29 and allegedly threatened Mishra.
"Your master contested elections against me and hence my victory was not that smooth. I had to spend over Rs 20 crore in these elections. Ask your master to give me Rs 20 crores or else I will make his life miserable," Sarnaik is said to have told Mishra, the complaint stated.
