Senior Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab Friday said former Maharashtra minister for social justice Rajkumar Badole was shielding an official who had not initiated any action on corruption charges against caste verification committee members.
Badole was dropped in the recent expansion of the Maharashtra cabinet and was replaced by Suresh Khade.
Parab, leader of the Shiv Sena in the Legislative Council, said, "Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has given assurance in the last session of the House of suspending officials facing corruption charges. I had raised this issue through three calling attention motions in last couple of years but no action has been initiated so far."
