Senior IPS officer appointed Director General of Lokayukta

Senior IPS officer Ajay Kumar Sharma has been appointed as Director General (DG) Lokayukta by the Madhya Pradesh government here today.
Sharma, a 1989 batch IPS officer, was posted until now as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Hoshangabad Range, an official release said.
Besides Sharma, the state government has also posted Santosh Kumar Singh (2000 batch) as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Gwalior Range and transferred Gwalior SP, Pramod Verma (2001 batch) to Police Head Quarters, Bhopal as Assistant Inspector General (AIG), the release said.
