Service pistol of police officer snatched

Suspected militants today snatched the service pistol of a police officer in Pulwana district of south Kashmir, police said.
Sub-Inspector Abdul Gani Band, brother of PDP MLA Khalil Band, claimed that suspected militants took away his pistol along with 70 rounds from Pinglana area when he was on way to a destination in a car, according to the complaint.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on, police said.
