The Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena had recently raised objections over Pakistani artistes working in the Indian film industry after the Uri attack.
Also, the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) had urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bar work permit of Pakistan artists till the problem between the two countries is resolved.
"There's always a nervous energy before an event, no matter how often you perform. I'm quite thrilled to perform. It's going to be amazing," he added.
The "Bum Bum Bole" hitmaker will be singing a mashup of old classics, English songs and latest chartbusters along with his own hits.
