There is a buzz that Motwane had approached actor Saif Ali Khan for his next but he kept him waiting and asked the director to alter the script.
Later, Saif was dropped out of the project and Motwane approached Shahid for the same. Grapevine has it that the 'Haider' star liked the story and decided to come on board for the film but the formalities are being worked out.
"My next films are "Shaandaar" and "Udta Punjab". I am fortunate to have worked on these two films. I am ignoring it pyaar se," Shahid told reporters here last evening.
