Kangra Member of Parliament Shanta Kumar is misleading voters in his constituency with the false promise of setting up a cement plant in Chamba, alleged Himachal Congress president Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
Addressing the Congress Workers' Conference in Chamba today, Sukhu said Kumar knows the cement plant cannot be set up in the region however he has gone ahead with his false promise.
Shanta is showing illusory dreams to the people just as Prime Minister Narendra Modi had done in 2014, Sukhu alleged.
The Himachal Congress president said Kumar could not bring major development projects to Kangra constituency as Modi was not listening to him.
Later in the conference, Himachal Pradesh Congress in-charge Rajni Patil flayed the NDA-led central government for "overpaying" for Rafale jets.
