Yadav met the parents of the 7-year-old boy, who was found murdered inside Gurgaon-based Ryan International School, at their residence and pitched for an overall review of school education policy.
He said private schools have flourished under political protection and claimed that the management of the private school under the scanner in the murder case has had links with different political parties.
Expressing his deep sympathies with the parents, Varun and Jyoti Thakur, he said they have sought a fair probe.
"There should be a court-monitored probe," he said.
Another MP from Bihar, Pappu Yadav, who had met the victim's parents- who hail from the same state- recently, echoed similar views and said recommendations of Kothari commission should be implemented.
He accused private schools of "profiteering" and asked the government to come out with regulations to check them.
