The duo sparked speculation they were splitting up after being spotted without their wedding rings and Sharon being seen moving into a new Los Angeles pad, reported Contactmusic.
However, the 64-year-old rocker took to his Facebook page to set the record straight, as well as make amends with his family and Black Sabbath band mates for his recent insane behaviour.
"For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs. I was in a very dark place. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober. Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing. I'm just trying to be a better person.
A spokeswoman for Sharon, 60, recently confirmed the pair are living two miles apart from each other in Beverly Hills, California, but insisted it was down to their hectic work schedules.
