Sheila launches new website of culture department

Hours before the model code of conduct came into effect in Delhi, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today launched a new website of the culture department.
The website www.Delhicelebrates.In is an year-long compilation of past and up-coming events put together by the Department of Art, Culture and Languages.
"Each year, a huge number of artists from all corners of the country fill Delhi with colour, music, dance, drama, flavour and fervour for the 'Delhi Celebrates' series of event.
"The event series, organised to add to the festivities of Delhi, the cultural capital of the country, has succeeded far beyond anyone's imagination," Dikshit said while unveiling the calendar for the upcoming year.

The programmes listed under the calendar are being presented by Sahitya Kala Parishad, Sindhi Academy, Punjabi Academy, Hindi Academy, Urdu Academy, Maithili and Bhojpuri Academy and Sanskrit Academy of the Department of Art, Culture and Languages of the Delhi government.
