Siddanth Banthia, Shivani Amineni lift titles

Siddanth Banthia of Maharashtra and Shivani Amineni of Telangana captured the boys and girls singles titles respectively in the 10th MSLTA-Yonex Sunrise Ramesh Desai Under-16 Tennis Nationals here today.
Boys' top seed Banthia, who won the under-14 nationals two years ago in Aurangabad, outplayed eighth seed Sacchitt Sharma of Delhi 6-1 6-3 in the final, while number 4 Shivani edged out number 2 Vaidehi Chaudhari of Gujarat 4-6 6-2 7-6(3) in the corresponding girls' match.
Shivani completed a double crown, by winning the doubles title with state-mate Shivani Sravya.

Boys: Amit Beniwal/Sacchitt Sharrma (Del) bt Rishabh Sharda/Naithaolin Golmei (Chd) 6-3 6-1.

Girls: Shivani Amineni/Shivani Sravya (TS) bt Prinkle Singh (J&K)/Vaidehi Chaudhari (Guj) 6-1 4-6 10-6.
