The observations are part of the Delhi Statistical Handbook released by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia here today.
According to the report, the number of cinema theatres including multiplexes have increased from 151 in 2013 to 157 in 2014.
"Average number of cine goers per day increased from 1.15 lakhs in 2013 to 1.23 lakhs in 2014-15," it said.
The handbook prepared by Directorate of Economics and Statistics, contains data relating to various socio-economic parameters in 23 broad chapters.
