Investigators found the group of six lured officials in Chongqing city into having sex with women and secretly recorded their encounters in order to blackmail them.
Xiao Ye, Xu Sheqing, Yan Peng, Wang Jianjun, Zhao Hongxia and Tan Linling were also charged with extortion, said a statement issued by the Yubei District People's Procuratorate in Chongqing.
In January, 10 government officials and heads of state-owned enterprises in Chongqing were sacked for their involvement in a sex videos.
Prosecutors had said Lei would face corruption charges at a later date, state-run Xinhua news agency said.
