The seminar organised by a social organisation in collaboration with the state government highlighted the importance of the act in empowering people.
"The Right to Hearing Act in Rajasthan has proved beneficial in redressing grievances of people in a time-bound manner and delivered positive results.
"This has supplemented guaranteed delivery of public services act - 2011 and such acts should be introduced in others states also," Nikhil Dey, one of the activists who organised the seminar, said.
They were shown how the act has delivered positive results in Rajasthan, he said.
Chief secretary C K Mathew, activist Aruna Roy were among those present in the seminar.
