Sonowal appeals all legislators to cooperate in devp works

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today appealed to all, including the opposition members, to cooperate in developmental works for the benefit of the people.
"If we all take a resolve, a foreigner-free Assam can be built. We have to complete the NRC in a time bound manner. Further delay will affect us. Sealing of border will also be done as soon as possible," he said.
Sonowal said the state government will set up a new department for imparting skill development training to youths.
"We will start a separate department for skill development for making youth employable," he said while making his statement on the governor's address.

The state government will also work towards giving employment opportunities to the youth besides working for increasing the agricultural output, he said.
Regarding flood and erosion problems, he said, the government will move forward for dredging Brahmaputra river with a scientific approach.
