"The ten-month old Akhilesh Yadav government has flopped at all fronts ... There is no development work, crime specially against women has increased and anti-social elements are ruling the roost," leader of Opposition in the state Legislative Assembly Swami Prasad Maurya told reporters here.
The BSP leader claimed that funds for various departments under the 2012-2013 budget have not yet been released even though the financial year is coming to a close.
Maurya accused the Samajwadi Party government with hijacking the 125 year celebrations of the state legislature, and said that the government had no concern for the people dying of cold as the blanket distribution works were being carried out only on papers.
