The drive will start on September 15 and end on October 31. Those completing 18 years of age on January 1, 2017 will be enrolled in the voters' list, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of UP T Venkatesh said.
The drive will emphasis on enrolling maximum women voters, the CEO said, adding that names of dead people, duplicate names and those transferred will be removed.
He said presently there are 13.86 crore voters enrolled in UP. Names of 33.1 lakh voters, including those dead and transferred, have been removed.
