"States Power Ministers Conference scheduled to be held from November 10th & 11th at Rajgir, has been called off due to unavoidable circumstances," said Rajesh Malhotra, Additional Director General (Media & Communications), Press Information Bureau, New Delhi.
Earlier, a two-day conference of Power ministers was to be held at Rajgir (in Nalanda district) on November 10 and 11.
The conference was to be inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Power R K Singh in the presence of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Power ministers of states and Union territories.
It aims at holding extensive and intensive review of implementation of various ongoing schemes and programmes and deliberate on a host of issues relating to power sector including new and renewable sources of energy.
