The first images from the Pasadena, California set of the movie also featured actor Jesse Eisenberg, who went retro with a brown suit. Allen, who has written and is directing the movie, was spotted joining the two stars.
The plot and release date for the movie are still kept under wraps. Blake Lively, Bruce Willis, Parker Posey, Corey Stoll, Anna Camp, and Paul Schneider are also among the cast members.
The movie will be a reunion for Stewart and Eisenberg, 31, after they recently played an on-screen couple in action comedy "American Ultra".
