Student commits suicide in UP

A 23-year-old girl student today allegedly committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at Bhenswal village under Gharipukhta police station in Shamli district, police said today.
Kavita, an intermediate student, committed suicide as she was upset due to some family dispute, they said.
However, villagers said the girl took the extreme step as her parents had fixed her marriage against her wishes.
