Student shot dead in UP

A 19-year-old student was shot dead allegedly by two youths at Masvanpur village in Kalyanpur near here, the police said today.
Karos Prajapati, a class 12 student, got into an argument with the one of the accused last evening, a police official said.
Later, the two accused went to Prajapati's house. They got involved in an altercation following which one of them shot Prajapati dead, he said.
The accused fled from the scene.
The family of the deceased has filed a complaint against the two. A case was then registered against them, Circle Officer Sanjiv Dikshit said.
Police teams are on the lookout for the accused, he said.
