Sugar ends quiet on some deals

Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale market in the national capital today with sugar prices after moving in a limited range on scattered support, closed at previous levels.
Marketmen said apart from ample supplies, limited buying support from retailers and bulk consumers, kept prices unchanged.
Following are today's quotations per quintal:
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,270-3,400; S-30 Rs 3,250-3,380.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,130-3,245; S-30 Rs 3,110-3225.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3,160; Kinnoni 3,240; Asmoli 3,210; Dorala 3,220; Budhana 3,200; Thanabhavan 3,190; Dhanora 3,165; Simbholi 3,225; Modi Nagar Rs 3,170; Khatuli 3,220; Dhampur 3,130; Ramala 3,140; Bulandshahr 3,140; Anupshahr 3,120; Baghpat 3,150; Morna 3,140; Sakoti 3,125; Chandpur 3,140 and Nazibabad 3,130.
