The festival will begin with "Mount Abu Carnival", a procession showcasing art and culture, that will take off from Nakki Lake in the morning and end at Polo ground, Rajasthan Tourism department sources said here today.
Various contests and competitions, including Abu Quit, Matka Race, Matka Phor, a cricket match among others will be held for the tourists. Trekking and hiking from Nakki Lake to sunset point have also been planned for the participants.
The summer festival is organised every year coinciding with Buddha Purnima by the Department of Tourism and district administration to boost tourism potential of the sole hill station of Rajasthan.
