Lokayukta Judge N K Sudhindra Rao directed Gowda to appear before the court on September 10.
Gowda, a retired Karnataka Administrative Service officer, was granted anticipatory bail by the Karnataka High Court on August 22 in the case in which Lokayukta police had already filed a charge sheet.
He has been charged with accumulating assets worth Rs 5.24 crore, disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The case was filed following a private complaint filed by S N Balakrishna, a retired teacher.
