Supporters of two parties clash in Siliguri

Activists of two political parties clashed in the ward no 28 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation today, police said.
A police picket has been set up in the area after the clash, the police said not naming the two parties whose activists clashed.
The Trinamool Congress candidate for Ward 28 Ruby Mullick Pal alleged that CPI(M) supporters attacked her and and also ransacked her party office in the ward.
The CPI(M) candidate of ward no 28 Sharmilla Das refuted the allegations of Pal about CPI(M) supporters attacking her and instead alleged that some outsiders have entered the area and threatening CPI(M) workers of ward no 28.
