In a letter to Naidu, Swamy said the land allotted to AJL by DDA was for printing and publishing the newspaper National Herald, which is not being done and thus DDA has the right to enter the premises allegedly being "misused" by AJL which is "collecting rent at exorbitant rates".
He also said that AJL properties in Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and in Mumbai in Maharashtra have been taken over by the respective state governments ever since his complaint was filed in Delhi's Patiala House Court, which had also issued summons to Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, who own 76 per cent of the company's shares.
Both Sonia and and Rahul Gandhi along with five others were granted bail by the court on December 19, 2015 after they appeared in response to the summons.
