Teenage girl commits suicide after mother scolds her

A 16-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging after being scolded by her mother in Shivpur village here, police said today.
The girl yesterday hanged herself from ceiling in her house after her mother scolded her for roaming around, in Sukhpura police station area, they said.
The body has been sent for postmortem, SP Anis Ansari said.
