A 16-year-old girl, doing her intermediate, was murdered allegedly by her teenaged lover here this evening, police said.
The 18-year-old boy, who had known the girl for the past two years, got angry when she began avoiding him and he decided to kill her, they said.
He asked the girl to meet him at around 6.30 pm and attacked her with a blade before slitting her throat, the police said, adding that the accused fled after committing the crime.
