Nayeen Rais Sayyed (18) was playing cricket with other boys in Mhada Colony in Nadi Naka area last night and hit the ball into the accused's house, Nizampura police station inspector RL Datavkar said.
Accused, identified as Ajan Khan, irked over the same, he picked up a quarrel with the victim and was soon joined by his four sons who launched an assault on the boy.
According to police, Sayyed was beaten badly and some more persons were also involved in the attack.
