Tejaswini, Moudgil, Ghosh win in KSS shooting meet

India shooter Tejaswini Sawant of Maharashtra won the women's 50m rifle 3 positions event in the XVII Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting championship here today.
She shot 454.7 in the finals, beating Aditi Singh of Haryana, who shot 453.4 to claim silver. Dilreen Gill of Punjab won bronze with 438.8.
Upcoming youngster from Bengal, Mehuli Ghosh impressed by winning the 10m air rifle women's junior event as well as the silver in the Youth category of the same event. Shreya Agrawal of MP swapped the top two places with Mehuli in both events.
Last night, Chandigarh's 20-year old Indian international Anjum Moudgil won the women's 10m air rifle, shooting 251.3 in the finals to pip fellow India teammate Meghana Sajjanar of Karnantaka, who shot 248.2. Rio Olympian Ayonika Paul was third with 227.
Shreya Saxena of Jammu & Kashmir won the gold in the women's 50m rifle 3 positions junior event when she got the better of Prasiddhi of Madhya Pradesh (MP) 452.6 to 442.2. Shreya Purohit, also of MP, won the bronze.
Anish of Haryana also continued his stellar form today after already winning titles in the 25m rapid fire pistol, as he went on to win the gold in the 25m standard pistol junior men's event.
He beat Anhad Jawanda of Punjab 568-562 while Shivam Shukla of the Air Force came third with 558. Amanpreet Singh won the men's event.
