Telangana to make arrangements to conduct Godavari Pushkarams

Telangana state government advisor K V Ramanachary said that government plans to make foolproof arrangements to conduct Godavari Pushkaram rituals which are scheduled to commence from July 14 this year.
According to an official release, a Telangana government constituted team for Godavari Pushkarams headed by Ramanachary met Chinnajeeyar Swamy at his ashram in Muchintal in Shamshabad mandal to invite him formally for Godavari Pushkaram in Telangana state, he said.
The Swamiji said that it would be apt to begin Pushkarams from Bhadrachalam where the famous Ramalayam temple is located, the release stated.
The Telangana government advisor told him that it would be conveyed to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his volunteers under Vikas Tarangini would extend help to conduct the Pushkarams rituals smoothly, the release stated.

Speaking to reporters later, Ramanachary said that the Chief Minister has instructed the Invitation Committee to meet all important spiritual heads to extend invite them formally and seek their blessings.
The government has already taken up construction of bathing ghats and are constructing 107 ghats in various places on the banks of the Godavari river, the release said.
The Telangana government has sought advice the Swamiji's advice to conduct Pushkaram ituals and is making all efforts to conduct them Pushkarams successfully, the release said.
Civic amenities will be constructerd at Bharachalam, Mancherial, Dharmapuri, Nizamabad and other places, the release said.
