Temple name miused for parking fee token near elephant camp

Hindu Religious and Endowment Charitable department has lodged a complaint that some persons were misusing the name of a temple in Mettupalayam and taking parking fee for the ongoing elephnt rejuvenation camp there.
The complaint said that some persons were issuing token for Rs 30 as car parking fee on a vacant land, belonging to a private party, behind Vanabadrakaliamman Temple, just a few metres away from the camp, police said.
The token is bearing the name of the Temple, for which the department has not given and permission, the complaint said and sought immediate actiona against the miscreants, police said.
