Thane police have prepared sketches of three suspects in the case of attempted abduction of software engineer Swpnali Lad.
Lad, 24, jumped out of an auto rickshaw while screaming for help on the night of August 1 in Kapurbavdi area here. She suffered severe injuries and has been in coma ever since.
Senior police inspector S S Kadam of Kapurbawdi police station told PTI today that several rickshaw drivers have been questioned, and sketches of three men - suspects - have been prepared on the basis of information given by the youths who helped the victim reach the hospital that night.
Swpnali, employed with TCS, had boarded a rickshaw at the Kapurbawdi Naka on her way to her house in Everest World in Kolshet area that night.
When the driver instead turned the rickshaw towards Bhiwandi, she got scared, raised alarm and jumped out of the vehicle, according to the preliminary probe.
