'The Exorcist' remake not happening

Putting all the speculations to rest, film studio Morgan Creek has announced that it will never try to remake horror classic "The Exorcist".
The studio took to Twitter to make the official announcement.
"For the record, we will never attempt to remake 'The Exorcist'," the post read.
William Friedkin, who helmed the original also shared his feelings about saying he completely "denounce" the remake.
The 80-year-old filmmaker got a direct response from Morgan Creek and assured he knows that there really wasn't an "Exorcist" remake coming.
"@WilliamFriedkin Despite what was printed, we can assure you we would NEVER EVER attempt to remake The Exorcist." read the tweet.
