Raising people-related issues should not be taken as the organisation's unhappiness with the government, Congress spokesman Raj Babbar said here yesterday, adding "there is no difference between the Congress and the government".
"Rahul Gandhi has made a comment on the ordinance following his inner voice and it cannot be taken as difference between the Prime Minister and the organisation," Babbar said.
To a question whether Rahul Gandhi's statement has damaged the Prime Minister's prestige, Babbar said Rahul never had any intention of undermining the Prime Minister.
There is coordination between the party and the government and if people from the organisation comment on public opinion on a particular issue it should not be taken as differences, he said.
The Congress spokesman said that the Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh has failed on all fronts.
However, there is no plan to impose President's Rule in the state, he added.
