"They are not my supporters. The party has taken action against them," the Madurai strongman said to a query, as he emerged out of Karunanidhi's Gopalapuram residence here along with his daughter.
Alagiri, who is believed to have visited Karunanidhi to seek his blessings ahead of the Pongal festival, said, "He (MK) asked me how I am. I said I am fine. He asked me how my grandchildren in US were. I told him they are doing well."
The 63-year-old Madurai MP had met his father on Wednesday, a day after being rapped by the DMK president for his remarks against alliance prospects with DMDK.
The party had on Thursday suspensed five loyalists of Alagiri over recurring instances of "mischievous posters" in that town.
Amidst sibling rivalry between Karunanidhi's sons-- Alagiri and M K Stalin-- over who is the political heir apparent to their father, the DMK high command had last week dissolved its Madurai Urban unit, replacing it with an ad-hoc body dominated by supporters of Stalin.
