Thousands worship at temples on transition of Rahu & Ketu

: Thousands of devotees offered worhship at Lord Naganathaswamy temple at Keezhaperumpallam in the district and Seshapuriswarar temple at Thirupaambaram near here on the occasion of planetary transition of Rahu and Ketu today.
Both temples are among famous Navagraha temples in Tamil Nadu.
Special poojas commenced early this morning in these temples today.
At 12.37 PM, 'maha deeparadhana' was performed marking the transit of Raghu and Kethu.
Rahu moved from the zodiac sign Kanni (Virgo) to Simmam (Leo) while Ketu moved from Meenam (Pisces) to Kumbam (Aquarius).
A large number of devotees had darshan.
