arresting three robbers from Professors' colony under in Bihar's Araria district, a police official said today.
Acting on a complaints about assembly of some dacoits near a house last night, the police rushed to the spot and foiled the dacoity bid by arresting the three robbers, superintendent of police Ranjit Kumar Mishra said.
The robbers exploded bombs and fired on the policemen to keep them at bay, but the cops remained resolute and foiled the docoity bid, besides nabbing the three robbers, he said.
There was no no injury to any cop in the firing and explosion of bombs by the robbers, Mishra said.
