Three-day Goa Biz Fest from Feb 8 near Panaji

Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will share his views on 'Vision Goa 2022' during the upcoming Goa Biz Fest 2018, a three-day-long event to be held near Panaji from February 8 onwards, the organisers said today.
The event, organised by BNI-Goa region, Goa Entrepreneurs Mentoring Services Trust (GEMS) and the state government along with NRB group of companies, will be held at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium near Panaji.
"During the second day of the event, the chief minister would share his views on the topic: 'Goa Vision 2022' at 4 pm on February 9," Rajkumar Kamat, Executive Director, BNI Goa Region told reporters yesterday.
The event is arguably the largest business convention being held in Goa.
State Information Technology and Labour minister, Rohan Khaunte will inaugurate the event on February 8.
Padma Bhushan Ajai Chowdhry, co-founder, HCL company and chairman of the board, IIT-Patna, Norm Dominguez, vice chairman emeritus, BNI Global, Shubhvilas Das, popular author and motivational speaker, Ajay Thakur, president, BSE-SME Exchange, Srinivas Dempo, chairman, Dempo Group, Narayan Bandekar, chairman, NRB Group will be some of the prominent speakers, Kamat said.
M Anand, principal counsellor, Indian Green Building Council, Gautam Goradia, chairman, ComSur, Gaurav Singhvi, executive director, BNI-Surat, G C Mishra, chief of fire services, Delhi, leading industrialists and bureaucrats from Goa will also speak at the event.
"The key objective of the GBF 2018 is to come together and work towards creating employment and employability in the state of Goa," he said.
Manoj Patil, president, GEMS Trust, said the three-day business convention was split into several interesting verticals, which include knowledge summits, the start-up conclave, career and job fair and biz expo with its 100-plus trade stalls, Kamat said.
