Three escape from police station lock-up

Three alleged criminals escaped from the lock-up of Maroth police station in Rajasthan's Nagaur district, police said today.

Mangaliya (30), Surekh (22) and Sardaria (23), who had cases of theft against them, were arrested on July 1, SHO Maroth police station Phool Chand said. Chand said that in the past also these men had escaped from custody.

The trio was on police remand and escaped after breaking the lock, he said adding a search was on to nab them.
