Three persons, including an elderly woman, were injured in a fire that broke after an LPG cylinder exploded at a residential building in suburban Andheri on Sunday, police said.
The incident occurred around 11.25 am at the fourth floor of Sunita Building on Yari Road, an official said.
"The fire was confined to electric wiring and installations, furniture, curtains, doors and windows," he said.
"Three persons, including an elderly woman, sustained injuries and were rescued by the fire brigade. They were admitted to a hospital," he added.
While one of them, a 27-year-old man, was discharged from the hospital, two others are still undergoing treatment, he said.
