Three killed in road accident in Kangra district of HP

The bus carrying 36 pilgrimages from Uttar Pradesh was on its way to famous Jawalaji temple from Kangra when it hit a rock turned turtle on the road, they said.

Satwant Verma, driver of the bus, and one Vijay were killed on the spot, while Ramadhar of Barabanki district in Uttar Pradesh succumbed to injuries on way to hospital, Deputy Commissioner, Kangra K R Bharti said.

All the injured, including ten with serious injuries, were rushed to Dr R P Government medical college, Tanda (Kangra).

A case has been registered, police said, adding, the exact cause of the accident was yet to be ascertained.
