Three legislators including a Congress member of the Legislative Council today boycotted the passing out parade of Jammu and Kashmir Police over non-adherence of maintenance of protocol in seating arrangements.
Two MLAs Charanjit Singh (Independent MLA from Kathua) and Durga Dass (Hiranagar) and a Congress member of Legislative Council Subash Gupta, boycotted the passing out parade.
Addressing a press conference in Kathua, the trio demanded a probe into the violation of protocol and humiliating treatment to them.
"We urge Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to intervene into the matter," Charanjit Singh said.
