Three Maoists arrested

from Pipra village of Bihar's East Champaran district late last night, Additional Superintendent of Police (Operation) Sanjay Singh said.

Acting on tip-off, police raided the village and arrested the ultras identified as Shivpujan Rai, Ramkishore Ram and Munchun Sah, Singh said.

Three countrymade pistols and 17 cartridges were seized from them, Singh said.

The arrested Maoists, who were wanted in connection with several cases, were in an injured condition.
