The deceased have been identified as Subash (36), a native of Rampur village of Alladurg mandal, his wife Anushamma (30) and son Gnaneshwar, sub-inspector of Alladurg Police Station Mohd Ghouse Pasha, said.
Locals took up search operation and fished out the bodies from the pond, said the official.
Exact reason of suicide is not known, he said.
