Three mineral water units sealed in a raid by Minister

Punjab's Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, Navjot Kaur Sidhu today ordered sealing of three mineral water production units for operating without licences in a raid conducted here, officials said.
Sidhu, wife of cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, along with a team of Health and Family Welfare Department found these units were not having any license to sell mineral water, District Health Officer BS Bajwa said.
She conducted raid at the production houses, and ordered sealing of three such units for running illegally, he added.
He said that the facilities were also found to be lacking in instruments to check water purity.
Samples from these units have been collected and the stock has been impounded, Bajwa added.
