Three more arrested in hooch tragedy

Three more persons were today arrested in connection with the last month's Malvani illicit liquor tragedy, police said.
Those arrested were identified as -- Prakashbhai alias Gurubhai alias Lalajibhai Nattubhai Patel (42), Liladhar Devajibhai Patel (57) and Gita alias Simaran Firoj Sayyed (35), police said.
While the first two are residents of Gujarat, Sayeed is the resident of suburban Malvani here.
They were booked under relevant sections of IPC, including sections 302 (murder) and causing grievous hurt (302).
With this, the number of people arrested in connection with the hooch tragedy, which claimed over 100 lives, reaches 12.
