The new judges are Kalidas Laxmanrao Wadane, Indira Kanahaiyalal Jain and Shalini Shashank Phansalkar-Joshi.
They were administered the oath of office by Chief Justice Mohit Shah at a ceremony held in the high court, which was attended by other judges and senior lawyers.
While Joshi was serving as the Registrar General of the high court before her elevation, Jain was the principal of Government Law College and Wadne the principal judge of Pune city civil court.
Joshi had also served as the principal judge of the city civil and sessions court where she had conducted the trial in the Shakti Mills gangrape case in which death sentence was awarded to accused.
